Brighton's clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon, Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey found himself at the center of attention, but for all the wrong reasons.

The game, marked by early goals from both sides, witnessed Lamptey's untimely exit in the 34th minute after picking up a knock that forced him to signal to the physio that he could not continue.

This forced a substitution, with Jack Hinshelwood stepping in to replace Lamptey in the defensive lineup.

Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro added the second and third goals for Brighton. Morgan Gibbs-White scored Nottingham's second goal in the 76th minute.

The injury to Lamptey adds a layer of concern for Brighton as they navigate the challenges of the season.
