Atingah played full throttle as the Youths secured a comfortable victory at the Al Sadaqua Wasalam stadium.
Brazilian forward Douglas Santana Veloso gave the home side the lead in the 39th minute following a dominant spell in the first half.
Kuwaiti forward Ahemd Zanki sealed victory with just five minutes left on the clock with a well taken strike.
The win lifts Al Shabab to fourth on the league log, just three points behind leaders Kuwaiti SC.
The former Hearts of Oak defender has been rock-solid at the heart of defence since joining the club this summer.
