Ghanaian defender Yakubu Issahaku scores for National Bank Egypt in win over Eastern Company

Ghanaian defender Issahaku Yakubu was on target for National Bank of Egypt FC in their away win over Eastern Company in the Egyptian Premier League.

Yakubu scored one of the goals in the sides 3-2 victory at the Petrosport Stadium in Cairo on Saturday.

The home team opened the scoring through Saber Aschraf after just three minutes into the game.

Two minutes later, the visitors restored parity of the match through the Ghanaian left-back. It was his second goal of the season for the club.

After recess, Palestinian defender Mohammed Saleh scored from the spot to put Eastern Company in front again.

But National Bank equalised through defender Mohamed Dabash in the 86th minute before Guinean forward Moussa Diawara got the winning goal in stoppage time.

Yakubu has had a decent campaign in the Egyptian Premier League this season where he played 32 games, scored twice and assisted twice.
