Ghanaian forward Brandon Thomas-Asante climbs off bench to score as West Brom beat Coventry in England

English-born Ghanaian forward, Brandon Thomas-Asante exhibited his goalscoring prowess to help West Bromwich Albion secure victory over Coventry City in the English Championship.

The 24-year-old made substitute appearance when his outfit cruised to a 2-0 away victory over Coventry on Monday night.

Thomas-Asante climbed off the bench in the 53rd minute, replacing Nathaniel Chalobah and made a good account of himself by hitting the back of the net to seal win for West Brom.

The visitors opened the scoring in the first half through Grady Diangana before Thomas-Asante expertly curled home from a Matt Phillips assist to seal victory.

The English-born Ghanaian attacker has now netted four times in 12 games in the English Championship this season, providing one assist.

Thomas Asante remains eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana as he is yet to make an appearance at any level for England.
