Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh bagged a hat-trick to propel Hartford Athletic to a resounding home victory in the US Open Cup second round on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old scored all the goals to ensure Hartford Athletic cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over Lansdowne Yonkers at the Trinity Health Stadium.
The former Kotoko striker opened the scoring for the host in the 27th minute as Hartford Athletic went to recess with a one lead.
The Ghanaian international doubled the advantage for the home team in the 73rd minute after scoring from the spot.
Eight minutes to full time, Elvis Amoh scored his third goal to seal victory for his outfit.
Amoh joined Hartford Athletic before the start of the 2023 campaign and has become an instant hit, scoring four goals since his arrival.
