Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yeboah secures Romanian Cup semifinals berth with CFR Cluj

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yeboah progressed to the Romanian Cup semifinals with CFR Cluj.  

The Romanian giants edged out FC Arges Pitesti from the quarterfinals on Thursday on home turf after inflicting a 1-0 win to secure semifinals berth.

CFR Cluj snatched a late victory over FC Arges Pitesti as Ermal Krasniq scored in dyeing embers to propel his side to secure qualification at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu.

The Black Meteors striker was handed a starting role and lasted 66 minutes before he was replaced by Rangelo Janga.

The 20-year-old has been impressive since joining the club in July 2022 from Ghanaian side Young Apostles.

His contract with the club is expected to run out in the summer of 2024.

CFR Cluj will travel to face Sepsi OSK in the semifinals encounter set for Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
