Ghanaian midfielder Eric Berko scores first competitive goal for Darmstadt 98

Ghanaian midfielder Eric Berko scored his first competitive goal for German Bundesliga II outfit Darmstadt 98 since joining the club in 2019.

Berko joined Darmstadt from Dynamo Dresden in summer 2019 and had to wait until Hamburger SV game to score a competitive goal for the club.

He opened the scoring in the 51st minute before Serdar Dursun made it 2-0 in the 60th minute.

Jeremy Dudziak scored in the 77th minute but it was not enough for the home side to pick a point as Darmstadt walked away with all the points.

The 27-year old played 27 minutes before he was replaced by Marvin Mehlem.

Darmstadt are 12th on the Bundesliga II table with 35 points.
