Ghanaian forward Godsway Donyoh wins Israeli Premier League title with Maccabi Haifa

Ghanaian forward Godsway Donyoh has won the Israeli Premier League title with Maccabi Haifa despite defeat in their last game against Maccabi Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old featured when his side suffered a 3-1 defeat on home turf in their final game of the league campaign.

Goals from Stifa burglary, Pendel Georgia Juvanovic, and Gate Oscar Gluch were enough for the visitors to pick all points at stake but that could not deny Maccabi Haifa the league title, thanks to Hapoel Tel Aviv who defeated second-placed Hapoel Beersheba.

The Ghanaian played an instrumental role in Maccabi Haifa’s second consecutive triumph of the Israeli top flight.

Donyoh featured 18 times in the league scoring 4 goals in the process.

His current contract with the club is expected to expire in June.
