Ghanaian forward Kwabena Owusu scores as Cordoba CF lose to Sevilla FC B

Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu was on target for Cordoba CF in their 2-1 away defeat to Sevilla FC B in the Spanish third-tier league on Saturday.

Sevilla FC B came from behind to pick up all three points against Cordoba CF in their match-day six fixture at the Estadio de Nervion.

Cordoba CF took the lead in the 17th minute of the game through Owusu's strike.

However, on the half-hour mark, Jose Mena equalised for the home side before scoring the match-winner in the 80th minute to hand his side all the maximum points.

The Black Meteors of Ghana forward lasted the entire duration of the game with scitillating performance.

The 22-year-old has made six appearances and scored two goals for Cordoba CF since joining them on loan from CD Leganés in the summer transfer window.

He was a member of the Black Stars squad that played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
