Ghanaian creative forward Kwaku Osei Bonsu yesterday registered his first goal of the season for Caracas FC against Universidad Central FC in the championship playoffs games in the Venezuela Primera Division.
Bonsu found the net in the 38th minute to double the visitors lead after an own goal from UCV defender David Guevara in 13th minute. The home side pulled one back on the stroke of half time through Rinaldo Pena from the spot kick.
Caracas restored their two goal cushion after Nigeria International Samson Akinyoola fired into the net in the 53 minute. But Universidad fought back to reduce the deficit when Marcano scored in the 69th minute.
Osei Bonsu has three assists and a goal in six matches this season. Caracas top their group of seven clubs with 18 points after 7 games.
