Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt opens up on why he left Bayern Munich

Ghanaian forward, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has finally opened up on why he left Bayern Munich.

The youngster was touted as one of the brightest players to take the Bundesliga by storm.

He was the most important offensive player in the second team of Bayern Munich

With 30 scorer points, he made a significant contribution to winning the championship in the third division

Bayern II, Wriedt was a leader and he still has after the championship season decided a change

“I really put myself into training with the pros and in 2017 I was allowed to play in the Bundesliga too. But when Sandro Wagner was hired as a backup for Robert Lewandowski in January 2018, I knew it would be difficult," he said.

“And although things went well for me in the U23, I only made three appearances. I had clearly hoped for more.

" So Wriedt decided to aim for a change after the championship," he added.

Kwasi Okyere Wriedt currently plays with Willem II Tilburg in the Netherlands.

In the current season, he has played in all three games and scored one goal.
