Ghanaian forward Michelle Agyemang signs professional contract with Arsenal

England-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Michelle Agyemang has signed a professional contract with Arsenal women.

This has been announced by the English Women’s Super League side today, May 2.

“We’re delighted to announce that Michelle Agyemang has signed her first professional contract with us.

“Our England youth international forward joined us at the age of six in 2012 and has shown strong development and progression during her time with our academy,” a club statement said.

The talented forward made her senior Arsenal debut at the age of 16 during Arsenal women’s Barclays Women’s Super League victory over Leicester City in November 2022.

She scored her first senior Arsenal goal in the Women’s FA Cup clash with Leeds United on January 29.

At the age of 18, Michelle Agyemang has made a total of five appearances for the Arsenal Women’s senior team.

She has been tipped to develop into one of the top forwards in the game.
