Ghanaian forward Osei Barnes bagged a brace in Academica de Coimbra 3-1 win over Casa Pia on Sunday night.
The 24-year-old registered his first and second league goals for his side as they picked the maximum points.
Academica de Coimbra took the early lead in the 5th minute of the game through Marcus Paolo, however Wilson Kenidy equalised for the visitors three minutes later to make it 1-1 before halftime.
The Ghanaian doubled his side's lead with a sublime finish in the 63rd minute to make it 2-1 to the Black and Whites.
Barnes bagged his second and side's third goal on the night.
The victory has lifted Academica de Coimbra two places above automatic relegation spot in the Portuguese second tier.
