Ghanaian forward Ragnar Ache and Aaron Opoku score as Kaiserslautern beat Schalke 04 in Bundesliga 2

German-born Ghanaian forward Ragnar Ache exhibited his goal-scoring prowess to help Kaiserslautern defeat Schalke 04 in the Germany Bundesliga 2.

Aaron Opoku also added his name to the scoresheet and Richmond Tachie grabbed an assist.

In the matchday 19 clash of the second-tier German league, the 25-year-old secured a starting spot for Kaiserslautern at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion.

Ragnar Ache produced an outstanding performance to help his outfit secure a 4-1 home win on Friday.

Kaiserslautern opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Ragnar Ache scored with a right footed shot from very close range to the bottom right corner following a set piece situation.

Darko Churlinov made it 1-1 for FC Schalke 04 with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal.

In the 59th minute, Ragnar Ache scored again to make it 2-1. Richmond Tachie assisted Ragnar Ache's goal with a cross.

Filip Stojilkovic and Aaron Opoku scored the 3rd and 4th goals for Kaiserslautern in the 67th and 70th minute respectively.

Kaiserslautern are now 14th on the league table with 21 points after 19 games into the season.
