German-born Ghanaian striker Sirlord Conteh shone for Paderborn 07 when they defeated Freiburg in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday night.
Conteh started and lasted 75 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 3-1 win over the Bundesliga side at the Europa-Park Stadion.
Germany international Filip Bilbija broke the deadlock for Paderborn after just four minutes into the game before Florent Muslija doubled the advantage for the visitors as they went to recess with the advantage.
After the break, Paderborn registered their third goal of the match through Filip Bilbija after he was setup by Sirlord Conteh in the 56th minute mark.
Freiburg pulled one back in the 69th minute through Maximilian Eggestein.
The 27-year-old has made 13 appearances across competition this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.
