Ghanaian attacker, Robin Yaw Paintsil was the hero for Tromsø on Sunday as he scored the only goal to give his team a 1-0 win over Strømsgodset in the Norwegian Eliteserien.
Speaking after the game, the overwhelmed forward said he felt amazing.
“That was amazing. I didn't expect this myself, but it was a lot of fun,” Robin Yaw Paintsil told TV 2 after the game.
On his part, Tromsø coach Gaute Helstrup was full of praise for his players especially Yaw Paintsil for his crucial goal.
The gaffer said, “I am very happy with a lot today, but then we see that we can still become a much better football team. You can look at the table, but we are happy to bring home the three points.”
After his impressive performance against Strømsgodset, Yaw Paintsil looks set to cement a place in the starting eleven of Tromsø.
