Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak confirm departure of David Ocloo by mutual consent

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have announced that they have parted ways with assistant coach David Ocloo after just a season.

Ocloo joined the Phobians in October 2022 as an assistant coach to Serbian trainer Slavko Matic for the 2022/23 campaign following the sacking of Samuel Boadu’s led technical team.

The Ghanaian giants has, however, taken to social media to officially announce the departure of their assistant coach on mutual grounds whiles wishing him well in his future endeavours.

“Hearts of Oak and Coach David Ocloo have mutually parted ways. We wish him the best in his next endeavour” the club tweeted.

The former Asante Kotoko deputy coach guided the Phobians to finish 12th position at the end of the season, escaping relegation on final day of the campaign.

The 39-year-old has had stints with WAFA, Liberty Professionals, Inter Allies and Kotoko.

Hearts of Oak are expected to announce a new coach before the start of the 2023/24 season.
