Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak is expected to get rid of their Cameroonian striker Junior Kaaba, according to reports in the local media.

The 23-year-old who joined the Phobians before the start of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League campaign has failed to glitter after 8 matches.

He penned a two-year deal with the reigning FA Cup Champions but his stint has been cut short due to his unimpressive performance.

The former Fauvre Azur Elite FC forward is yet to find the back of the net for the capital-based club since his arrival.

According to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the Phobians are not impressed with the performance of the striker and are unable to pay his $3,000 monthly wage creating discomfort in the playing body.

It is said Some players have complained to the club hierarchy about this ‘exceptional’ treatment meted out to the Cameroonian import.

The 23-year-old ended the 2021-22 season in Cameroon, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in the process for his club Fauvre Azur in the top-flight.
