Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora released by Azam FC

Tanzanian giants Azam FC and Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora have parted ways following the expiration of his contract.

The 23-year-old, who has been a key cog of the Dar Es Salaam side brought an end to his three-year stay at the club.

According to Graphic Sports Online, Abalora and two other foreigners namely winger Emmanuel Mvuyekure and striker Donald Ngoma have all left.

The Black Stars shot-stopper joined Azam FC from Ghana Premier League side WAFA after being linked with a move to Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

He has featured for the Ghana national under-23 team, as well as Black Stars ‘B’.  He was also part of the players called by former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome last year.

The report further stated that several clubs in Tanzania and Rwanda are interested in signing him.
