Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan secures move to Venezia FC until 2026

Venezia FC has officially announced the acquisition of Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan.

The 31-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the 2025/2026 season, with an option for renewal. Duncan, a product of Inter Milan's youth system, brings a wealth of Serie A experience, having played for Livorno, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Cagliari, and most recently, Fiorentina. He has made 304 appearances in Italy's top flight, scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists.

In European competitions, Duncan has featured eight times in the Conference League and five times in the Europa League, including qualifiers.

He left Fiorentina this summer after his contract expired, having joined the club in August 2020. In his final season with Fiorentina, Duncan scored two goals and provided five assists in 41 matches across all competitions.

On the international stage, Duncan has represented the Ghana senior national team on 10 occasions. His experience and versatility are expected to strengthen Venezia FC's midfield for the upcoming seasons.
