Ghanaian midfielder, Divine Naah, has been released by Azerbaijani club Turan Tovuz, making him a free agent once again.

The 27-year-old's stint at the club lasted only three months after joining on a two-month deal.

Naah's short-term contract with Turan Tovuz was supposed to be extended if he met the club's expectations.

He has featured in 6 games, none as a starter.

However, the midfielder's performance during his time at the Azerbaijani side didn't meet the desired standards, leading to his release.

After being released by Kauno Zalgiris in Lithuania on January 1, 2023, he remained without a club until he joined the Azerbaijani outfit.

Divine Naah had previously shown great promise and potential, especially during his time at the renowned Right to Dream Academy, where he was regarded as one of the best midfield prospects. However, he has not been able to fully realize his potential during his career in Europe.

Before his time at Turan Tovuz, Naah had played for several clubs, including Nordsjaelland, Tubize, and NAC Brda, but he struggled to establish himself as a standout performer at any of these clubs.

As a free agent once again, Naah will now be seeking new opportunities to continue his football journey and rediscover the form that once made him a highly touted midfield talent.
