Ghanaian midfielder Mark Osei Assinor was in sensational form when his outfit FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova defeated MFK Zemplín Michalovce in the Slovak Super Liga.

The Ghanaian youngster scored and also served an assist as his side strolled to a resounding 5-1 away win over their opponent on Saturday.

The hosts opened the scoring of the round 8 fixture in the 16th minute through Bosnian defender Sasa Marjanovic but the visitors responded four minutes later through Slovakian midfielder Patrik Blahut.

In a spirited performance, the Ghanaian international scored to put his side in the lead four minutes to the half-time break.

Czech midfielder Christophe Kabongo extended his side lead in the 71st minute mark after he was set up by the Ghanaian player.

The visitors continued their demolishing exercise with defender Peter Kovacik and substitute Lekan Okunola scoring in the 79th minute and in stoppage-time to seal the victory for Podbrezova.

Assinor is having a decent campaign in the Slovakian Liga since the beginning of the 2023-24 season, scoring twice and assisting twice after 5 appearances.
