Ghana midfielder Nana Opoku Ampomah has become an important player again for Fortuna Dusseldorf ahead of their game against Hansa Rostock clash.
The 26-year-old has been recalled by manager David Thioune into the senior team due to several injury situations at the club.
Ampomah, who has been with the junior team for sometime now impressed Fortuna Dusseldorf’s manager when they faced Lippstadt 08 in the Regionalliga on Saturday
The Ghanaian midfielder, who is the most expensive player for Fortuna Dusseldorf scored a brace as Fortuna Dusseldorf II defeated Lippstadt.
He was named on the bench for the defeat to Heidenheim.
Ampomah is set for a first team action for the first time after being called back into the senior team.
He is expected to play a role when Fortuna Dusseldorf plays host Hansa Rostock on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
