Denmark-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Nikolas Nartey is set to sign for German second division side SV Sandhausen from VfB Stuttgart, according to Kickgh.com.

The 20-year-old joined third-tier club Hansa Rostock during the 2019/20 league season where he made 19 appearances, scored a goal, and provided four assists.

Though it was expected that Nartey will be allowed to stay with VfB Stuttgart for the 2020/21 football season, it has been reported that another loan outing is on the cards.

His contract with VfB Stuttgart will expire in June 2023.

Hannover 96 were interested in acquiring the services of the youngster, however, he has opted to join fellow lower-tier rivals in the ongoing transfer window.

Nartey is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Danish national youth teams.
