Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Acquah has been named NK Lokomotiva Zagreb squad to face Malmo FF in the 2020/21 Uefa Europa League qualifiers on Thursday.

The 23-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Croatian giants, however, the narrative could change as he is now available for selection when his side meets Malmo in Uefa second-tier competition.

Locomotiva will need to overcome Jon Tomasson side to stand a chance to make it into the group stage of 2020/2021 Europa league competition.

Acquah joined NK Lokomotiva Zagreb from LASK Linz for an undisclosed fee on a four-deal.

He attracted interest from several clubs in Europe including Paderborn and Fortuna Düsseldorf but he opted to join Goran Tomić side ahead of the upcoming season.

He spent last season on loan at SV Ried, where he was one of the standout players of the team.

He made 17 appearances for the Wikinger and provided one assist as he helped them secure Bundesliga promotion for the first time in four years.

Acquah has previously played for Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, KV Mechelen, KF Tirana, and TSV Hartberg in Austria.
