Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng scored for AD Alcorcón in their 3-1 away win over Sporting de Gijón the Spanish Segunda on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute through forward Oscar Arribas Pasero before Stoichkov made it 2-0 four minutes later.
The Ghanaian scored in the 40th minute to give his side a 3-0 lead before recess after his side piled more pressure on Sporting de Gijón.
After the break, Sporting de Gijón dominated play but failed to unlock the visitors resolute defense in their bid to at least get a draw.
Uros Djurdjevic however grabbed a consolation goal for the home side.
Boateng, who the younger brother of former Ghana international Derek Boateng has scored two goals so far in the Spanish Segunda division for AD Alcorcón
