Footballghana.com can confirm that Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli Eklu has completed his anticipated move to Italian lower-tier outfit FC Sudtirol.
The player who until recently was playing his football with Lucchese saw his stocks shoot up after an impressive performance in the latter part of 2021.
As a result, a number of clubs expressed interest and made efforts to poach him this winter.
Following successful efforts by FC Sudtirol, the club has managed to secure the signature of Shaka Mawuli Eklu.
FC Sudtirol currently leads the log in Serie C and hopes the signing of the exciting midfielder will give their squad a major boost.
At the end of this season, the club is aiming to gain promotion to Serie B to compete at a higher level.
In the past, Shaka Mawuli Eklu has played for several clubs in Italy including SPAL, Fano, Ravena, as well as Sambenedettese.
