Ghanaian players abroad: Ernest Nuamah scores third league goal as Kelvin Yeboah provides assist

Ghanaian players abroad were in action over the weekend, with a mix bag of performances across Europe.

Ernest Nuamah scored his third league goal of the season for Lyon in their defeat to PSG in the French Ligue 1.

Kelvin Yeboah also provided an assist for Standard Liege as they drew 3-3 against Westerlo in the Belgium league title playoff.

Premier League round 34

Thomas Partey was brought off the bench after the eightieth minute mark as Arsenal beat Wolves 2-0 to go top of the Premier League after Man City were not in action in the league.

Forward Antoine Semenyo was subbed on after the hour on his recovery from injury as Bournemouth lost 3-1 against Aston Villa.

Attacker Mohammed Kudus was taken off after the 80th minute as West Ham suffered a 5-2 loss to Crystal. Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp were brought on for some minutes in the second half.

LaLiga round 32

Inaki Williams scored an own goal as Athletic Club were held to a 1-1 draw by Granada, going on to play the full 90 minutes.

Center back Abdul Munin played a fourth straight 90 minutes for Rayo Vallecano as they secured a 2-1 win over Osasuna.

Baba Iddrisu was once again an unused substitute as bottom Club Almeria lost 2-1 to Villarreal.

Serie A round 33

Caleb Ekuban started and played 68 minutes for Genoa as they lost 1-0 to Lazio.

Ibrahim Sulemana was taken off after 46 minutes as his Cagliari hold Juventus to a 2-2 draw. That was Sulemana’s third start in a row after just recovering from an injury.

Emmanuel Gyan assisted the winning goal for Empoli as they beat defending champions Napoli 1-0.

German Bundesliga round 30

Christopher Antwi-Adjei was brought on in the second half for Bochum but he couldn’t help them avoid a 1-0 loss to Wolfsburg.

Jamie Leweling played just over an hour for Stuttgart as they lost 2-1 to Werder Bremen.

Jeremie Frimpong played behind the striker for Bayer Leverkusen as they scored in the 97th minute against Dortmund to preserve their unbeaten run in the season after drawing 1-1.

French Ligue 1 round 30

Ernest Nuamah scored his third goal of the season as Lyon lost 4-1 to PSG. The 20-year-old scored from a beautiful cut in.

Mohammed Salisu returned to action for Monaco in nearly a month as they beat Brest 2-0.

Belgium Pro League round 34

Kelvin Yeboah provided an assist for Standard Liege as they were held to a 3-3 draw. That was his second assist in 10 matches and has four goals.
