Ghanaian players abroad wrap: Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah get first league goals as Black Stars sign off for international break

Ghanaians abroad signed off for the October international break, with some doing so on a high note.

Mohammed Kudus scored his first Premier League goal for West Ham to rescue a point for them against Newcastle United in a 2-2 draw.

Similar for Ernest Nuamah, he also netted his first goal for Lyon in a 3-3 draw against Lyon in the French Ligue 1.

Premier League round 8

Thomas Partey returned from his groin injury to play the last 15 minutes as Arsenal edged Man City 1-0. It was his first game since August.

Moritz-Broni Kwarteng finally made his Bochum debut coming off the bench in the 72nd minute as they held Leipzig to a goalless draw.

Jeremie Frimpong scored for Leverkusen as they picked a 3-0 win over Koln.

Serie A

Caleb Ekuban came off the bench to play the last 22 minutes as his side Genoa lost 1-0 at home o AC Milan.

Emmanuel Gyasi came off the bench in the 81st minute for EMpoli as they were held to a goalless draw at home by Udinese.

Ibrahim Sulemana was subbed off for Cagliari as they lost 4-1 at home to Roma.

Alfred Duncan lasted 83 minutes for Fiorentina in their 3-1 win over Napali.

French Ligue 1

Alidu Seidu played the entire game for Clermont Foot while Grejohn Kyei was a late substitute as their game was suspended in additional time due to crowd disturbances, with Montpellier leading 4-2.

Ernest Nuamah scored a volley for his first Lyon goal as they were held at home by Lorient to a 3-3 draw.

Salis Abdul Samed played the entire game for Lens in their 1-1 draw with Lille.
