Ghanaian players Baba Abdul Rahman, Christian Atsu faces home test to West Ham in English Premier League new season

Ghana's Chelsea defender Baba Abdul Rahman will have the opportunity to challenge for the Premier League title next year when they kick start next season's campaign against West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

Rahman who signed for the Blues last summer from German Bundesliga side Augsburg is yet to prove his worth to the Londoners after a debut season of inconsistencies.

The English Football Association today released fixtures for the upcoming season with Chelsea set to welcome the Hammers on August 13 before travelling to Vicarage Road to play Watford Rahman's fellow Ghanaian Chelsea player, Christian Atsu will also be hoping to revive his career under new manager Antonio Conte when the league begins against West Ham United.

Chelsea will be hoping to win their sixth title this term after finishing 10th in a disappointing Premier League title defence last term.
