Ghanaian quintet of Stephan Ambrosius, Ransford Yeboah, Patric Pfeiffer, Braydon Manu and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt are considered as players in the German Bundesliga 2 who can make World Cup squad.

The Black Stars is returning to the global showpiece after missing out in Russia 2018.

Ghana has been housed in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

A host of players in the German second-tier league could make their national teams World Cup squad with the Ghanaian quintet no exception.

Stephan Ambrosius, who plies his trade for Karlsruhe SC earned his maiden Ghana call up for friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua but is still awaiting his debut.

But the defender has edge over Patric Pfeiffer who plays for Darmstadt in making the Black Stars squad.

Pfeiffer, was one of the five players who switched nationalities in June but missed out in the Otto Addo's 29-man squad for the September friendlies.

Braydon Manu, who earned his first Ghana call up in 2021 could in line ahead of the World Cup following his impressive form this season for Darmstadt.

He has already been involved in seven goals for the Bundesliga 2 outfit.

Holstein Kiel forward, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt will battle it out with Braydon Manu for slot in the Black Stars team.

He was handed call up in June for AFCON qualifiers but missed out in the latest call up for friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Hamburg star Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer is a possible candidate for the World Cup with Ghana coach Otto Addo hinting on the possible inclusion of the forward for the mundial.

He has been in a rich vein of form, scoring on his return from international duty with Ghana.

Yeboah made his debut for the Black Stars after coming on a substitute against Nicaragua.
