German-born Ghanaian striker Charles-Jesaja Herrmann scored in Waldhof Mannheim's 3-1 defeat to Arminia Bielefeld.

Charles-Jesaja Herrmann started the game at the SchücoArena and lasted 80 minutes.

The home side had more possession and shots on target in the encounter.

In the 20th minute, the Bielefeld goalkeeper made a critical passing blunder by playing the ball into Charles-Jesaja Herrmann's foot. This was transferred immediately to Kelvin Arase, who took the shot from a central position and put Buwe up 1-0.

The Buwe played well and almost rewarded themselves again a few minutes later.

In the 51st minute, Klos found Boujellab, who released Wagner in the penalty area and beat Bartels with a low effort into the far corner.

Manuel Wintzheimer's right footed shot from very close range to the centre of the goal gave Arminia Bielefeld the third goal in the 76th minute. Manuel Wintzheimer's goal was assisted by Merveille Biankadi.

Waldhof Mannheim will play Borussia Dortmund II in their next league game.
