Ghanaian striker Daniel Gozar starts training with Moroka Swallows

Ghanaian striker Daniel Gozar has started training with newly promoted South African ABSA Premier League side, Moroka Swallows after joining them this summer.

The 28-year-old was put through his paces by his head coach together with his teammates at the Dobsonville Stadium on Friday.

Gozar penned a two-year deal with the club on Thursday after parting ways with Free State Stars.

"I had my first training with the club on Friday and it was great. I also took time to meet and familiarize with my new teammates," he told Sportsworldghana.com.

"I am really looking forward to start the season with Swallows and I will offer my best."

He scored an impressive 12 goals and registered six assists in 23 games for Free State Stars in the just-ended season and hopes to hit the ground running at his new club when the season commences.

The former Dreams FC and Ashanti Gold SC striker was courted by many teams, including Mpumalanga Black Aces, ZESCO of Zambia and Swedish Allsvenskan outfit, Falkenberg FF.
