The striker started for his team in the Round 19 match of the league campaign against the matchday opponent today.

In a game that produced three goals, Clermont Foot took the lead in the 40th minute when Elbasan Rashani scored with a fine strike.

While that goal would send the visiting team into the break with the lead, the team resumed from recess with renewed energy.

Just two minutes into the second half, Neto Borges scored the second goal for Clermont Foot after he had been assisted by Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei.

Although Sofiane Boufal would score for Angers in the 80th minute, it was not enough to save the team from a 2-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

In today's game, Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu also featured to help Clermont Foot to secure the big three points.
