Ghanaian striker Jordan Mintah nets hat-trick as Kaya FC wallop Global Cebu

Ghana and Kaya FC striker Jordan Mintah scored a hat-trick in his side's 5-1 win over Global Cebu in the Filipino topflight on Sunday.

Mintah, who has been the leading scorer in the Philippine league for the past two seasons, gave Kaya FC the lead in the 8th minute before bagging his brace in the 27th minute.

The 24-year-old completed his hat-trick in the 37th minute of the game.

He has helped propel Kaya FC to the 2nd position on the league standings with 37 points and are unbeaten in their last five league games.

He previously played for Kessben FC and Wassaman before moving to the Philippines in 2014 to join Stallions FC where he spent three seasons before finally joining Kaya FC.

The highly-rated striker is one of the three foreign players the Asian country is seeking to naturalise for their national team in the future.
