Ghanaian youngster Kingsley Sarpei featured for German side Bayer 04 Leverkusen U-19 side in their 5-0 heavy defeat to Juventus in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday afternoon.
Sarpei came from the bench to excel for Bayer 04 Leverkusen but could not help them avoid a heavy defeat at the hands of Juventus.
The 17-year-old was introduced right before resumption of play in the second-half and he lasted the entire duration of the game.
Despite his impressive performance in the second-half, Juventus went ahead to score three extra goals with Leverkusen failing to score even a consolation goal.
The Ghanaian has a contract with Leverkusen until 2021 as he signed a three-year deal from VfB Hilden U-17 in 2018.
