Ghanaian striker Prince Osei Owusu scores in Toronto FC's 11-1 aggregate victory over CS Saint-Laurent

In a one-sided Canadian Championship quarter-final match, Toronto FC secured an impressive 11-1 aggregate victory (8-1 in the second leg) over CS Saint-Laurent, with Ghanaian striker Prince Osei Owusu contributing to the goal fest.

Owusu, who was introduced as a substitute for Andrei Dumitru in the 76th minute, etched his name on the scoresheet in the 80th minute. He skillfully converted a pass from Federico Bernardeschi, who was set up by Deybi Flores, to score the eighth goal of the night.

The match was a goal-scoring fest for Toronto FC, with Deandre Kerr leading the charge. Kerr scored a first-half hat-trick, with his goals coming in the 12th, 14th, and 43rd minutes. Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty provided the assists for the first two goals, while Derrick Etienne Jr. set up the third.

The goal-scoring spree continued in the second half, with Cassius Mailula scoring in the 50th minute. Etienne Jr. then converted a penalty in the 56th minute, and an own-goal by Saint-Laurent defender Nathan Goulet further increased Toronto's lead. Kerr added his fourth goal in the 72nd minute, assisted by TFC II midfielder Andrei Dumitru.

The visitors, CS Saint-Laurent, managed to score a consolation goal in the 89th minute through Rickson Aristilde, but it was too little, too late.

With this emphatic victory, Toronto FC advances to the semifinals of the Canadian Championship.
