Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim happy to score for Halmstads BK against Ostersunds FK in Sweden

Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim has expressed his happiness after scoring for Halmstads BK against Ostersunds FK in the Swedish top division on Saturday.

After 40 minutes of play, Karim scored the game's first goal, putting the hosts up 1-0 but his side failed to hold on as they were held to a 1-1 draw.

“Alhamdulillah. Another goal today but unlucky not to be able to get all three points. Thanks to all the fans that showed up and supported us to the end. We keep ours heads up and fight till the end," the former Berekum Chelsea ace wrote on Twitter.

Karim's left-footed attempt from the middle of the box struck the bottom right corner, putting his name on the score sheet in the Sweden Allsvenskan for the second league game.

Blair Turgott equalised for the home team in the 43rd minute, drawing level for the away team before heading to the dressing room.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian striker has four goals and one assist in 22 appearances this season.

He was a member of the Ghana U-20 side from 2009-10, he scored two goals in five appearances for Ghana.
