Ghanaian teen Forson Amankwah on target for Liefering in heavy win against Rapid Wien

Ghanaian international, Forson Amankwah was on target on Sunday when his Liefering outfit thumped Rapid Wien 6-2 in the Austria lower-tie league.

The former WAFA SC man has been in top form since joining the club and is now a regular starter in the team.

In a game played at the Red Bull Arena today, the exciting midfielder was named in his team’s starting eleven and made it count with a goal and brilliant assist.

On the matchday, Luka Reischl opened the scoring for Liefering after just 19 minutes into the first half.

Three minutes later, teenager Forson Amankwa equalized to double the lead for the home team before a second strike from Luka Reischl before halftime put the side in full control.

Later in the second half, Forson Amankwa assisted Nene Dorgeles to increase the lead for the hosts as they eventually cruised to the heavy 6-2 win.

For Rapid Wien, Marko Dijakovic and Nicholas Wunsch netted the consolation goal for the side.
