Ghanaian teenage sensation, Francis Abu marked his Nordsjaelland debut with a goal against Silkeborg at home on Sunday in the Danish Superliga to earn an important point for his side following a 2-2 draw.

The 18-year-old attacker was introduced in the second half when his side was trailing by two goals courtesy strikes from Shkodran Maholli and Mads Kaalund.

His compatriot, Mohammed Kudus reduced the deficit for the home team in the 52nd minute before he was substituted for Oliver Villadsen on the 76th minute.

Francis Abu and his teammates pushed for the vital equalizer and finally got the breakthrough when the Ghanaian fired in from six yards after a failed clearance by the visitors.

The match eventually ended 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes following Silkeborg’s failure to convert a late penalty kick.

The former Right to Dream Academy player after getting off to a good start will be hoping to bang in more goals when he is given the opportunity to play for Nordsjaelland in subsequent matches.
