Hungarian club Ferencváros Ferencváros has announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Pappoe, marking the club's first summer acquisition.

The 20-year-old talent joins the Hungarian side from Israeli club FC Ashdod, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.

Isaac Pappoe, born on December 20, 2003, made his move to FC Ashdod in 2022 from his native Ghana. He spent the previous season on loan to Swiss second division club FC Aarau, where he showcased his versatility by playing both defensive and attacking midfield roles.

During his stint in Switzerland, Isaac Pappoe clocked an impressive 2165 minutes in 28 league matches, contributing two goals and five assists. He also featured in a single Swiss Cup match, playing for 84 minutes.

Before his move to Europe, Isaac Pappoe represented the Ghana U20 national team on two occasions, demonstrating his potential on the international stage.

Isaac Pappoe previously played for Ghanaian outfit Golden Kick SC. According to Transfermarkt Pappoe's market value is 400,000 euros.
