Ghanaian winger Ansgar Knauff scores for Frankfurt in win over Viktoria Köln 1904 in DFB Pokal

German winger of Ghanaian descent, Ansgar Knauff registered his name on the scoresheet when Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Viktoria Köln 1904 in the Round 2 of the DFB Pokal on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old was a second half substitute when Frankfurt cruised to a 2-0 away win over their opponent in the German Cup competition.

Knauff replaced Jens Petter Hauge in the 64th minute mark and made his presence felt by scoring to seal victory for his outfit.

The visitors scored on either half to secure victory over their opponent in the encounter played at the Sportpark Höhenberg.

Tunisia international Ellyes Skhiri opened the scoring for Frankfurt after just 14 minutes into the game before Knauff sealed victory on stoppage time after connecting from Paxten Aaronson.
