Italian-Ghanaian attacker, Davis Mensah has expressed his delight after helping Mantova to beat Trento in the Italian lower league.
The forward and his team struggled for wins in recent weeks but managed to record a win over the past weekend.
In a game against Trento, Mantova put up a good performance and recorded a narrow 2-1 victory at home.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Davis Mensah who was on the score sheet said the victory tasted very good.
He wants his Mantova teammates to stay focused and keep going after that win to push for more points.
"After three games in which we struggled we finally managed to win. I'm happy for my goal but above all for us because we needed it. Now we start again, we hope to win. Continue like this,” Davis Mensah said.
The winger has been in fine form this season and is one of his team’s best players.
