Ghanaian international, Nana Opoku Ampomah has become a free agent following the expiration of his contract at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The once-touted talented forward signed for the German outfit in the summer transfer window of 2019.

He was recruited after a stellar campaign in the Belgian Pro League where he starred during his stay at Waasland-Beveren.

Although he was bought with a lot of expectations, injuries denied Nana Opoku Ampomah the chance to flourish.

He spent two years on loan at Royal Antwerp whiles at Fortuna Dusseldorf due to the difficult spell he endured.

At Fortuna Dusseldorf, the winger made less than 20 senior team appearances and could not make a real impact.

After five years of an unending nightmare that has set his career back, Nana Opoku Ampomah is now looking forward to opening a new chapter.

He is on the market as a free agent and eager to make a strong comeback.

It is understood that he is a transfer target of a number of clubs in Belgium and could make a return before pre-season starts.
