Ghanaian youngster Christopher Baah Bonsu was sent off in the first half of KRC Genk’s stalemate against Westerlo in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

Genk were reduced to ten men in the first half when the 28-year-old Ghanaian teenager picked up a second yellow card in the game.

The sending off was his second of the season after he was sent off against Anderlecht in early September, where both teams share the spoils.

Colombia defender Daniel Munoz got the opening goal of the match when he put Genk in front in the 10th minute but the visitors responded quickly to level pegging after Belgium international Lucas Stassin had found the back of the net nine minutes later.

Five minutes into the second half, Paintsil connected a pass from Kayembe to increase the advantage for Genk.

Stassin scored again in the 60th minute to reduce the deficit before substitute Tuur Rommens got the equalising goal for Westerlo with one minute remaining to the end of the match.

Compatriot, Joseph Paintsil lasted 80 minutes in the clash, scoring his second league goal for Genk.
