On Saturday, English-born Ghanaian youngster Daniel Adu-Adjei scored a brace to propel Bournemouth u-21 to victory against Charlton Athletic.
Bournemouth u-21 beat Charlton Athletic 4-0 in the race for the top spot in Group C of the Premier League Cup.
In front of a sizable crowd at New Cuthbury, goals from Dan Adu-Adjei, Balraj Landa, and Dominic Sadi saw the Cherries leap ahead to a 3-0 lead after only 15 minutes of play.
Adu-Adjei's season tally now stands at 19 after scoring in the 72nd minute.
The in-form striker scored twice against the Addicks in a 4-0 Premier League Cup win in September, then scored the lone goal in the Cherries' 1-0 Professional Development League victory seven days later.
The victory moved the Cherries three points ahead of the second-placed Canaries, with the clubs facing off in their final group encounter on February 3rd at Wimborne's New Cuthbury.
Bournemouth u-21's next game will be against Millwall u-21 in the Professional Development League.
