England-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Darko Gyabi has rejoined English Championship side Plymouth Argyle FC on a season-long loan.

The youngster signed for the same club on loan from Leeds United in January this year.

At the end of the 2023/24 season, he returned to Leeds United where he held talks with the managers on the best option for him for the next football campaign.

With Plymouth Argyle FC expressing interest in the services of the midfielder for another season, Darko Gyabi has been re-signed on a season-long loan.

“Darko Gyabi has returned to Argyle. The 20-year-old midfielder has agreed to a season-long loan deal from Leeds United, which will see Darko spending his second stint as a Pilgrim.

“Gyabi joined Argyle in January 2024, on loan, and caught the eye in ten appearances, the last from the substitutes’ bench,” Plymouth Argyle FC announced in a deal on Tuesday, July 2.

The club was quick to add that the loan deal is subject to EFL approval.
