Ghanaian youngster Dennis Gyamfi has started trials at Belgian Pro League club Cercle Brugge as he hopes to impress the technical handlers.

The 19-year-old was promoted to Leicester City’s senior team by Brendan Rogers after the lockdown as a replacement for the injured Ricardo Perreira and trained with the team.

However, he refused to extend his contract and has since left the club.

The budding talent made nine appearances and scored one goal for the Foxes’ under-18 team this season before the league came to an end due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He has been linked with a move to several European clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Rangers, and Schalke 04.

Born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents, Gyamfi grew up in England and is eligible to play for all three countries at international level.

He has been likened to Manchester United Aaron Wan Bissaka due to similarities in their style of play.
