Ghanaian prodigy Eddie Nketiah has dedicated Leeds United's win over Salford in the Carabao Cup to supporters.

Nketia, who joined the Championship side on a season-long loan from Arsenal scored his first goal for the club in their 3-0 win over Salford 3-0 to progress to the next stage of the competition.

The 20-year-old took to twitter to thank all the fans for their support.

"This is a big thank you to all the travelling fans, you were excellent and this win was for you," he said after the game.

Leeds took the lead in the 20th-minute through Nketiah’s smart finish.

Goals from Gaetano Berardi and Mat Klich in the second-half sealed a comfortable win for the side as they are set to face Stoke City in the next round.
