Ghanaian youngster Enock Kwateng discloses how Bordeaux defeated Metz in Ligue 1

Ghana and Bordeaux youngster Enock Kwateng has disclosed how his side recorded a 2-0 victory over Metz in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who joined the club in the summer lasted the entire duration of the game as Bordeaux secured their second win of the season at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.

Jimmy Briand opened the scoring in the 7th minute before Nicolas de Preville doubled their lead two minute later to seal all maximum points.

"We are satisfied with this victory, we were keen to start our home championship with a great win because we had the opportunity to play at home and we could not win," he said after the match.

"The coach asked us to attack the whole game We scored two goals and we relaxed, this is not what the coach asked us. The result is there, not too much with the way, we'll get back to work on Monday, the trust is there," Kwateng added.

Bordeaux are currently on a run of four games without defeat as they languish on the 9th position with eight points after five games played.

The highly-rated right-back is eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana despite representing France at the youth level.
